There are finally signs of life in the restaurant space on Dekalb Avenue that was once home to the ill-fated Liquors. The space has been empty for more than two years since the previous tenant vacated under acrimonious terms. Now you can add organic French Moroccan cuisine to the choices available on the street that realtors like to call Fort Greene’s “restaurant row.” Kif is the name on display now and it’s got the same proprietors as Cafe Lafayette over on S Portland.
The message in the window is welcoming and the menu promising, but there’s no sign of what the prices will be (how much will they have to match the rent listed in this old craigslist ad?).
